South West Barrel Racing As a non-profit organization, SWBR relies on funding from private sources to ensure professional quality barrel racing jackpots. We strive to keep our fees low while maintaining a healthy payout. SWBR is a family oriented association and promotes sportsmanship, horsemanship, and friendship.
We appreciate those businesses or individuals who can donate time or money to support a great and growing sport. We try hard to promote our sponsors and encourage members and spectators to reciprocate the favor by doing business or buying products from sponsors.
In 2005, SWBR plans to continue to include co-sanctioning and advertising with associations such as Better Barrel Races and Outback Barrel Racing Assocaiton. So far we have a $500 added barrel racing which will be held at the Rettinger Ranch on May 29th. This is a Better Barrel Races sanctioned event! Last years BBR jackpot had $1,000 added, 52 barrel racers in the Open and a total payout over $2,000!
As a sponsor of $50 or greater, we would happily hang your business banner in the arena during each jackpot. We also will include your name, website link or other information on our web page. You will be promoted on all of our advertising and mentioned several times at each jackpot. Booth space will be free at any or all jackpots if you wish to promote your business in person! We will tailor these items to match your preferences. Sponsors are listed with larger amount sponsors first, but amounts are not disclosed unless requested.
You may sponsor a prize or added money. Added money can be donated in any amount. First place prizes usually run about $120 each for the four divisions, second place is around $60, Third place $30. Youth prizes are needed and run about $150 total.
